Hi Talitha,

I looses at your x-rays which are cut off so I cant see the whole tooth. Based on what I did see I would go specialist B for sure.
Give it time to stabilze after the trauma rather than start extracting teeth.

Hi Gary,

10 weeks is not too early. If you have a class one bite and the implant had initial stabilty of more than 35NcM in great natural bone, you should be able to have a temp on a front implant. There are about a 100 more details to consider, but those are the basics.

Hi Shay,

Just speak to your dental implant dentist. I am sure there is just a misunderstanding and your dentist is not trying to fool you. If you are having a bridge, some dentists call the anchor an abutment, but the real word is a retainer. That is my best guess. Keep me posted!

I am so sorry to hear that. Yes, I too have seen way too many problems with these dental implant “supercenters.” Often what seems to good to be true ends up costing you more in the long-term.

I wish I would have come to you first. I am having to redo 3 of the implants I had done from one of those $899 commercials on the radio. I sensed from the very begining that they were not so good at what they do. They lure you in with the low cost, then tell you in the end that the crown and abutment cost way more than normal. I would have rather paid the $5000 per tooth average cost than to deal with what I am going through. If anyone is reading this, have your implants done by somebody really good not just some “special” on a billboard.

i thought so from your readings but im being charged with both on each tooth
now im being told i will receive abutments on the teeth and just the prefabricated abutments

I had a front tooth implant placed 10 weeks ago and was told I can’t get my temp crown for another 10 weeks! My restorative dentist wants me to get a temp crown now to allow the gums to heal around it and to get me out my flipper (which I would love) Who’s right? and is 10 weeks to early to load a temp?
