Your First Visit

Your initial appointment will consist of a very thorough exam including x-rays and photographs. You will spend a lot of time with Dr. Amin to address all of your concerns.

The purpose of the first visit is to gather all of the proper diagnostic information. Just as if you were having a medical surgery, the tests are done first and a consultation appointment is made after the doctor has reviewed everything.  Digital models of your teeth may be necessary to evaluate your bite.

Most of our patients have advanced procedures are done that generally go beyond the low $1500 per year benefit. So whether you see an “in-network” or “out-of-network” dentist, it really does not matter because they will still only pay $1500 per year. 100% of the patients that see Dr. Ramsey Amin choose to see him out of their insurance networks because they want their dental work done right.

We want to help you keep your teeth and dental implants for a lifetime, not just patch up problems just for them to reoccur! We may uncover many long-standing dental issues that you or your previous dentist may have never been aware of. Our goal is to educate you to prevent problems!

Please complete all forms before arriving, as this will allow the doctor to see you on schedule.

A thorough medical history and a list of medications you are presently taking and any medication allergies will be necessary. Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to dentistry (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, immune system problems, etc.), or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anti-depressants, blood-thinners, Fosamax, etc.). Premedication or a change in medications may be required prior to surgery.

If you are being referred by your dentist, please bring your referral slip if you were given one.

If you have dental insurance, bring your insurance card. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

Your second visit

During this visit, Dr. Amin will consult with you on your particular treatment options. Dr. Amin would have already spent a great deal of time analyzing the information that was gathered from the first diagnostic appointment. You will be able to review the photos that were taken to gain a better understanding of your conditions.

Dr. Amin will personally review all of your dental options in great detail.

A written treatment plan, the sequence of treatment, and fees will also be presented. Your next appointment will be made on that day.

Why? Well, we love spending the time to get to know our patients. We feel it is a privilege to have you in our office. And with that privilege comes an obligation by us to treat you as we would ourselves. We pride ourselves in taking a lot of time to conduct a VERY THOROUGH exam and spending an equal amount of time explaining a diagnosis and treatment plan.

We firmly believe that educating you about your dental health will ultimately help you to keep your teeth for a lifetime. We will leave no stone unturned, and we’ll come up with a plan of action to comprehensively treat your condition. We will not “patch up” your teeth and wait for an eventual disaster.

Parking

Our building has a private lot with ample parking available for a flat $6.00 rate. You can pay at the machine in the lot, which accepts cash, credit, and digital payments. Street parking is also an option, but be sure to check posted signs carefully to avoid a citation.
