Who actually performs the implant placement?

Implants are a team effort between and Dr. Amin and your regular dentist. While Dr. Amin performs the actual implant surgery, initial tooth extractions and bone grafting if necessary, the restorative dentist (your dentist) fits and makes the permanent teeth. Your dentist may also make any temporary teeth if needed during the implant process.

Dr. Amin performs in-office implant surgery in an operating suite, thus optimizing the level of sterility.

Your referring dentist may want us to complete the entire procedure for you including making the new implant teeth.

Dr. Amin's referral practice does both the surgery and makes the new implant teeth in many complex situations or in patients that do not have a regular dentist.

Because we surgically place and restore dental implants we are able to lower the total cost of the procedure.
