Frank is a great patient that I have known for many years. He had the misfortune of having severe gum disease and decay that required the eventual removal of all of his teeth. His passion is playing the saxophone which he said you really need good teeth to play well.
Listen to his experience. He decided to do the procedure in stages, spreading treatment over 2.5 years. The upper implants, bone grafts and teeth were made first. The lower jaw was done later as immediate implants
This is what his 15 dental implants looks like before putting the teeth in: (6 implants on the top with a bar and 9 implants on the bottom)
With the teeth in: (Upper over-denture and fixed lower porcelain bridges)
This is the x-ray:
Here is Frank’s smile before and after I treated him:
Congratulations Frank! You still owe me a CD of you playing the sax!

Hi I had to have five of my upper back teeth on the left side pulled out and my dentist is saying I should just get dentures because it’s complicated to do implants on the upper area because of the sinus but I don’t know if I want dentures and if it really is a big complicated process to do the implants instead ???
Wow –that is an impressive video. It is nice to hear things from a patient’s side of view.
Thank you!
